Hi, I’ve dusted off the old nameplate and revived my personal website, JTRichardson.com. Life is busy, but I hope to write here now and then about topics that don’t fit into my other, narrower blogs at LonelyPilgrim.com and ZDutton.org. I also set up a wiki for sharing information.
Just want to say that I find your blog in the defence of our Catholic Faith very good indeed. I am not sure whether you have always been a Catholic or a convert but you certainly have a wealth of knowledge on theology. Good for you. It is unfortunate that there are too many bigoted people about especially those who are anti Catholic. This is no thanks since the Reformation. Protestants have been brought but that us Catholics are superstitious lot and of course they have no understanding of the body, blood soul and divinity of Jesus Christ present in the most Blessed Sacrament. My father was a convert in the early 40’s but it was all down to God’s providence. He went to an Anglican Catholic High Church of England Public School which was similar to our Catholic faith. But his family were Low Anglican Church of England and they certainly did not approve of my father converting. Although saying that I have been blessed with a wonderful family on my father’s side because although they did not approve there was no antagonism, anger, resentment, against my father. My grandparents and both uncles were very special indeed. I have met people though who just simply do not like Catholics. I am keeping your blog on the defence of the Catholic faith which I find very useful indeed. I hope you do not mind. But please keep up with your blog and it is important to defend our Catholic faith, after all it has lasted over 2000 years, its teachings have not changed and as the Duchess of Kent said that our Catholic faith gives us clarity and direction. I could write a lot more but don’t wish to bore you.
Kind regards
