- William Bowdoin (born ca. 1740, probably in Virginia; died 1821, Conecuh County, Alabama); married Mary (born ca. 1740, died between 1808 and 1820, Randolph County, North Carolina).
- Josiah Bowdoin (born ca. 1780, Granville County, North Carolina; died ca. 1857, Meriwether County, Georgia); married (1) Ms. Read (born ca. 1780, Randolph County, North Carolina; died ca. 1826, Jasper County, Georgia), (2) Nancy Freeman, (3) Nancy Spencer.
